Goodbye ATT!! This kid figured a way to unlock the Iphone from crapy ATT. I think I can do this. CeeDub do you want to be the first to volunteer your iphone.

I saw that article this morning, but I'm horribly addicted to the Visual Voicemail and couldn't bear to lose that feature.

Besides, I've had better service with Cingular than I did with T-Mobile.

I already provided product for the iPod vs Washing Machine experiment so I think it's someone else's turn to volunteer their stuff.

it'll be a cat and mouse game now apple will release patches that will block and it'll be the hacker's turn...i'm excited because i'll be able to use it on t-mobile.

I've got a few we can do tests on. Who has a summer to give up to work on this conversion!

Kids has been on you tube... On CNBC this Morning in an interview with Erin Burnett showing you how to do it. Check his blog... doesn't look that hard. But I have to give props to the kid, smart as hell and seems pretty cool trying to just give away the code he made. Just wait a few months and someone will figure it out with just a software upgrade... All I-phones have to be capable of being unlocked with just software upgrades, its just Apple won't tell yet.

I'm pretty sure legally you have to be able to unlock a phone.

Your going to need a sodering iron with a very small tip and a razor blade to scrape off the top layer of the PCB board to get to that trace, easy! Oh and if you have a microscope to do the work under it will help as well.
