Default Best Beer VI

Here you go, like old times. Discuss the beers you do and those that do you!

Delirum Tremmens, simply gold in a bottle!

Where do you buy beer?

Why, Hollingshead in Orange, of course!

Delerium Tremmens is incredible.

For hot, summer days, Hoegaarden is awesome. I love Sam Smith's Oatmeal Stout all the time, and when it comes to German Wheat Beers, Ayinger Brau Weisse.

Spaten Optimator is a great dark beer.

Rogue Dead Guy Ale is a great Domestic.

Yep, they used to have great Saturday hot dog fests, but the family that runs it was working way too much. Sadly, Saturdays are gone.

I had some - pretty good. Brewed by Ommegang brewery. On that note, Ommegang Abbey Ale is also excellent and a great value if you're into the Belgians.

Stone 10th Anniversary IPA is my current fave. Only one bottle left and it's saved for a special occassion.

my 2005 is brewed by UNIBROUE http://www.unibroue.com/english.cfm in Canada. I can't locate my 2006 right now, so perhaps Ommegang brewed that year. Their Henepin is awesome.

As for the Stone 10th......I have a 3ltr bottle....just waiting for a good reason........maybe a special STR ride? we'll see.

Default 27 days to freedom!!

I'ts been 338 days 17 hours and 20 minutes (not that I'm keeping track or anything) since I've had a drink. My favorite wetdream is jumping off a highdive into a pool filled with SLO Pale Ale. 27 days to freedom.

Sam Smith makes so many good beers. Everything they put out is great, IMO.
