well, I'm still in contact with the head of SK from time to time- since the beginning of SK, he got married, had two kids, and also became part of the "G" team (God). the rename of "grail cyclery" is definitely a reference to the G team. heck, if it was the same welder, painter and designer, I'd still buy another frame from Pat.

that and apparently one of his kid's got the joke. oops!

it's actually pretty cool that he occasionally emails and asks how I'm doing and how the bike is- you're not getting that from many bike mfgers at all, are ya?

btw- that Ti Kingpin in your pic is one of about seven and they were all welded by litespeed back in the pre-merlin days.
