So the wife & I took a trip to Barona casino in SD today kind of spur of the moment. We went down there with a couple free play $5 coupons & said we are only going to spend $100 & thats it. Play a few slots maybe a hand of blackjack or 2 & then get some dinner & head home. Well the traffic sucked took nearly 2 hours to get there. So it was fair to say I was in a bad mood by the time we got parked & into the casino. I gave Jamie $40 & the $5 vouchers, then headed over to find a penny or nickel machine & start donating my $$$ to the tribe. I played Back to the Future the penny machine & lost, then played the Star Wars machine & lost. Then I found a $.25 machine called Cleopatra. I put in my last $20 bucks & started playing. Right away I won $50. So I kept on playing for a little while longer & sure enough gave it all back. At that point I was pretty much over the casino & was ready to go. So I went & found Jamie. She also had just lost her money. I told her I was ready if she was. Then she pointed out that I had played with $60 & she only got to play with $40 & how unfair that was. It was either a trip to the ATM or a long car ride home. I went with the ATM & gave her $20. She went over to a penny slot & started playing. On her 4th play she won $120 (all of our money back). At that point I said cash it out. Then on the walk back towards the change both we went past the $0.25 machine I played earlier.... I told Jamie how I won $50 on it earlier & said that we should give it a couple more trys before we leave. She agreed & we put in the $120 voucher into the machine. After a 4 or 5 losing turns I said one more & thats it. So I hit the button for one last spin & won 5620 credits. No bells, lights or anything. Just this,
It worked out to be $1315.00. Pretty cool, never won anything before so I was pretty pumped. Just thought I would share.
