Blah blah blah...all those things may be true, but the iPhone is the first "gadget" my wife has ever, ever, really liked. It's ease of use has her loving receiving/sending email on her handset and searching the internet for things or maps.

I have another one to add to the list: can't send an SMS to multiple recipients, or did someone say that already?

I have the Blackjack II and my dad has the Iphone. for some reason I hate the touchscreen on it, because you can't get insurance on it and if something goes wrong. Bam there goes an expensive phone down the drain.. I love my Blackjack II so far though.

The iPhone is a pretty cool and slick looking phone with a lot of catchy features. If you want a phone to be really productive, particularly in a work enviroment, it is most likely not the phone for you. As with many of the iThings out there it does not play well with others unless that other is an iOther. I'm a huge Palm Treo fan. I love the all the programs I can pick and choose to use and the flexibility it provides. It is truly and ip enabled hand held computer. Telnet, FTP, VPN, Bluetooth Modem, etc... the list of things you can do goes on.

Apple has said they are not going over the coporate market but I think give them a couple of iPhone generations and we will see. I imagine the Blackberry's and Treo's will have step up in the sleek/cool looks department in response.
