MIAMI (May 15) - For the second consecutive year, rude Miami drivers have earned the city the title of worst road rage in a survey released Tuesday.

Other cities near the top of the rude drivers list were New York, Boston, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C.

The most courteous drivers can be found in Portland, Ore.; Pittsburgh; the Seattle-Tacoma area; St. Louis; and Dallas-Fort Worth, the survey found.

You could of fooled me. I was up in Portland a few years ago and I was totally freaked about arsehole drivers up there. My wife was flippin more birds, then I ever seen and I thought for sure I was going to get into a fight before we got out of there. Seattle wasn't as bad, but if you drive a little slower because of the rain they honk and flip you off as they haul ass around you.

I experienced a lot of road rage down in O.C. while riding on the road, which is why I stopped riding the road all together. Up here in Morro Bay and surrounding areas though it's just the opposite. The shoulders on the road are wider than I've seen and even then drivers still make a pretty wide berth around riders to give them plenty of space. I ride the road almost everyday now. I'm even fortunate enough to get to ride from my house to the trails on my mtb so I'm on the road more than ever before. I guess people up here must be so used to all the riders it's just part of the culture.
