I hesitate to sully a wonderful thing like cycling with something putrid like politics and the opinions of the governed but since I didn't start this thread I'll throw this out there...
Which is worse: 1. That he is the leader of the free world? (eeek! )B. That he graduated from Harvard (of course there is something wrong with the US education system) III. That he was the lesser of 2 evils in the last two elections (proof that stupid does not equal evil) Four. That the last two elections elections are the only things he has ever won that daddy didn't pay for (I saw the governorship of Texas on E-bay after he left) Personally I didn't vote in the last two elections because it was a lose-lose situation and I wasn't taking the blame no matter which way it went. As a nice perk I have free licence to b!tch about the state of affairs today because hey, I didn't vote for him... ![]() |

Hey, at least we went to war for oil (that's what the media tells me anyway), now we're all driving around getting gas for 80 cents a gallon. I even started drinking it since it's cheaper than water

That really doesn't mean much to anyone outside the Agency. Case in point: Who runs the CIA now?
Anyway, why spend the time coercing a group of people when you can just buy a high ranking post in government? Much quicker ![]() But back to the heart of the matter, suffice to say that Winston Churchill's position as one of the great orators of our time is not in jeopardy |

I reject that assessment of leadership, just as he seems to reject the common definition of "the free world."

Biking: True- George W. Rides a Trek Fuel EX 9.5 according to Bike magazine College: We are both right. W. graduated Yale university in 1968 and attended Harvard School of Business in 1974 Back to joking: I love how the party he belongs to refers to itself, or is referred to as, "The Moral Majority" but a Bush, a Dick and a Colin were once the big names of the administration. Now if they had only hired Orel Roberts it would have been perfect. We could have had a Bush, a Dick, a Colin and Orel. |

![]() and jsut came across these. i was familiar with most above. if these are legit, i am speechless (i and bet W wishes he was as well) "The vast majority of our imports come from outside the country." - George W. Bush "If we don't succeed, we run the risk of failure." - George W. Bush "One word sums up probably the responsibility of any Governor, and that one word is 'to be prepared'." - George W. Bush "I have made good judgments in the past. I have made good judgments in the future." - George W. Bush "The future will be better tomorrow." - George W. Bush "We're going to have the best educated American people in the world." - George W. Bush "I stand by all the misstatements that I've made." - George W. Bush "We have a firm commitment to NATO, we are a part of NATO. We have a firm commitment to Europe. We are a part of Europe." - George W. Bush "Public speaking is very easy." - George W. Bush "A low voter turnout is an indication of fewer people going to the polls." - George W. Bush "We are ready for any unforeseen event that may or may not occur." - George W. Bush "For NASA, space is still a high priority." - George W. Bush "Quite frankly, teachers are the only profession that teach our children." - George W. Bush "It isn't pollution that's harming the environment. It's the impurities in our air and water that are doing it." - George W. Bush "It's time for the human race to enter the solar system." - George W. Bush

Yeah, it is easy to pick on Bush's speaking. He's certainly no orator like our last gem of a President. I'll be honest though, I'm sure glad he's President instead of Gore. Why? Because I like to burn fossil fuels until our world is no longer inhabitable. Oh wait, maybe I should have voted for Gore then.
