This guy was insane. He died doing free-falling off a cliff when his rope failed. He used no safety equipment.

OMFG! I like rock climbing but that had my palms sweating big time!! - the bit where he leaps up with both hands in the air to grab that ledge - no wonder he's pushing up daisies !!!

Dumb ass! I remember this guy. I worked fo this company, and I don't know if he was a sponsored athlete, or an interesting candidate but... I vividly remember the video of this guy at one of our sales conferences complete with Motley Crey (kickstart my heart or something like that) in the background. Needless to say, he didn't last too much longer after it all went to head. In fact, there were actually sidebets in place after the video since one of the versions they showed us had him leap to a grab, then have the face breakaway. He stretched for the face as he falls and saves himself, there was also numerous inverted sections. Must have lived under powerlines as a kid, or ate too many paint chips.

Sorry if this offends anyone, I just don't see the point. All these people do is take it to the extreme, then once they die, the regulators get their panties in a bunch and scream about how unsafe it is, ultimately making it harder and harder for us to go an have fun.

Its the whole Blade Runner thing Jeff - he lived twice as much in half the time. I'm sure he didnt see attack ships burning off the shoulder of Orion tho

First off, I used to do stuff like this all the time with my uncle in Alaska when we were hunting wolverines.

Second, that's not all one take. There's too many edits and camera angles. So, it's not like that video is the way it actually happened. However, it's still impressive. I wonder how many times he did it to make that video. He had to stop a few times at least to allow camera guys to get in position.
