dont get me started on this. Favorite movie of all time. I actually got to kinda ride w/Eddie Fiola back in the day at the PV lighthouse(fun zone?) He was a super nice guy and very approachable. Martin Aparijo was also the man back then.(he did all of the stunts for lori laughlin and eddie did all of bill allens stunts.) Its a shame the movie is out of print. Tri-star needs to put out a dvd w/some behind the scenes and commentary on it.

I actually went to high school with chris phoenix and kevin hull (some of the guys in the final race). we used to ride all the time and I still see chris every so often we all give him crap about that movie considering it completely blew. but I still liked it because it was rad bmx!

i'll never forget the day my indoor soccer coach took us to the Cypress Twin Cinema after our game to go see RAD! i was a little grom when i met eddie fiola at "midzone", (a cement flood control ditch with a lip that could boost you at least 6-8 feet in air) over off the 605 & Willow in Long Beach.

I was there when they were in the total rebuilding process... and from what I saw, it looked good.. I talk to Todd Lyons once in a while and he races over there. he is the one that told me about the track.

I plan on heading back soon

Sounds great!
When?

I'll need at least a couple days notice to brush off the cobwebs from my 24...or I could just bring my mtb play bike. It's seen many track days at Orange.

Unfortunately, I work in Torrance, so making it to Orange during the week is a bit challenging at best.
