I've got a buddy that lives about 20 miles west of Portland and he is always sending me pics and helmet cam vids--awesome stuff!!

They've got total North Shore-esque stunts built in the woods there.

I'm going to visit there next summer and check it out.

I lived in Portland (Gresham) for two years and it was so beautiful up there. Problem was it was also very, very wet and if you don't mind being cold and wet, this is the place to be. My wifes family still lives up there and next year we will be spending two weeks up there. I'm already trying to plan the rides I want to do.

The Cascade Creampuff 100 has miles of that nicely groomed singletrack as part of the race.
