I think it's like $500 for the 4gb and 6 or 700 for the 8gb? Looks freggin sweet though. I saw a little video on it.

Yeah I was a tiny bit bummed about that since I currently have Sprint. Although I am out of contract, lol. Gonna be sold at Apple Stores and Cingular stores. I still haven't saved enough for a Macbook and there's already a sweet new device out there

But I guess I can't do web development stuff on the iPhone . . .

4 more months to go then my contract with Cingular is over FOREVEA. No freekin signal any longer at work. And it's a hit or miss at home. My wifes cell works fine here (Verizon) and the guys at work ggod too along with Sprint. So no IPhone for me for a while.....Plus the price will drop a couple hundred if you wait 6 months to a year.

I hear talks of the iphone being exclusively pimped by Cingular. If that's true, it's a damn shame. No offense to all you Cingular users, but from personal experience, that company just plain 'ol sucks. Hopefully the talks are just "talks"...cuz I'd score one.

I read that Apple has been negotiating for the name for a long while, until the talks finally fell through. They decided to go for it anyway. Arrogant.
They should have just called it the iCell.
