Smile Live Cam-Mt. Wilson

I know someone already posted this a while back but it's a great one to keep on your favorites. They change the direction of the cam at different times .

Incredible views to check out at night and good to look at before you head that way for riding. The cam is set up at the Mt. Wilson Observatory. Gorgeous day today for sure!!! Hoping my plans go quick so I can get a ride in and work off all this PIZZA!!

The city lights look absolutely amazing when pointed in that direction!!

Where is this Mt. Wilson at? How do you ride up there?

The San Gabriels. It's a long climb up, but worth it. If you do climb it I recommend coming back down the Mt Wilson Trail. You'll have to ride back to you vehicles though, unless you do a short shuttle.

Well...since I first post this the cam has mostly been down while working out the kinks of their new camera and computer. Looks like it's finally up and working again. The camera does randomly change direction.
Worth a look. Mt. Wilson 150-Foot Solar Tower Current Towercam Image

That shot is great, it looks like they bought a new camera, never seen it as detailed as tonight. I have wanted to ride up there on a crisp clear night with a full moon. We should talk about it.

Just got back riding CWP...clear start but the clouds moved in quickly . Cold and windy up there today but I think the cam is in the clouds at the moment. It was out of service again all last night.
