well, three days ago i got in the mood to renovate my old BMX jumps into something i can blast on the sweet machine. well after clearing a bit of brush and watering some geography down i was ready to get my excavate on. i had about 4 good size wheelbarrow's into this hip's lip when i felt an aweful sting on my right ankle. i swatted for what i thought was a stinging flying insect, when i felt nothing on me i assumed it flew away, and i didnt look down feeling that the ordeal was over. wrong decision. immediately after that i felt 3 more on the left. i looked down only to see each foot with ants up to the ankle. natural reaction at the time was to stomp my feet wildly, well the little black bastards like to climb when confronted with a violent motion. shit, i begin to flick them off one by one, luckily there was only about 10-15 per foot, and i guess all of them didnt feel like eating my pretty little legs. i go inside to ice my bites and plan my attack. 5 minutes later im at their hole with a pound of powdered laundry detergent, cinnamon and black pepper (all were mentioned to my by my father as ant destroyers) i dumped all of it with a vengance on their pretty nest and surrounding areas. we'll fast forward to yesturday... i arrive at the spot i dumped all of the ant killing materials. to my suprise it was all moved, a good 5 inches from the hole with paths through the failed ant killer, not a bit left in or neer. one of them emerged from the hole, and flipped me off. so i got my pick and spade shovel and made the series 1/2 holes in the ground into a nice crater, then filled that crater with dawn, simple green, and water. this afternoon i checked on them to see that it didnt phase them in the least bit, this man made crater now had ant made internal holes in two fold the first amount. the same ant emerged to spit the simplegreen and dawn at me, then turn to bare his rear in an attempt to moon me. this is war...

im gonna rent a backhoe and transfer the fu*&ers to a box and ship them to china! they arent really a bother unless i sit for more than a few seconds at the start point for the different lines of the jumps, then they climb . you guys know of a cheap way to kill an entire mass of ants? maybe dig it all up and throw it over the neighbors fence? pour a mass of flammable liquid in the hole, let it penetrate and burn the mothers down?

Go to home depot. Buy a sprayer and one bottle of each of the following: Malathion and Diazinon pour a quarter bottle of each into the sprayer and fill the rest with water. Spray the hill and surrounding area. Also works on roaches, spiders, fleas, ticks, small animals and children. Wash your hands thouroughly after doing this

Get a 5 gallon can and fill it with gas, then empty the gas into the hole and light it on fire. Works everytime.

Using any of these methods is at your own risk.
A well placed M80 should send a decent shock wave destroying the top layer of tunnels and provide excelent entertainment. Shaping the charge would be more effective, but I'm not a demo expert and don't know how to do that.

shaping a charge with a non linear explosive with a questionable rate of fire is difficult. C-4 or Semtek is preferable. About the only way to do it is to find a shallow conical steel object with a hollow center to direct the blast downward. Anchoring it to the ground could be tricky, and finding such an object will be a challenge. A steel dog bowl might work if you put a large rock on it but make sure that you are far enough away from it to avoid any shrapnel that could be created if the dog bowl shatters.
