I think there may be a difference between, What's your specialty and those who actually are looking for a job...not sure. Not sure
If you read the post prior to yours, it's the same info. It's all about networking.

It's been merged and is also a sticky.

Pilot. Corporate, charter and flight instructor. I've flown two seat trainers up to nine pax bussines jets. Our industry is being hit hard especially when the auto idiots got scolded for showing up with their hands out from the govt. in $50 million dollar private jets. Pilot jobs in so cal are is like trying to squeeze water out of a rock.

I've invested too much time, effort, and money to this career to give it up. Thank god my wife has a great job. Since my ex-boss decided to move to FL and base his plane there, I have been desperately looking . . . At least when I am not riding.

I already posted here, but a little more detail. I am an ASE certified master tech, and a factory trained Mercedes Benz tech. I also did a 6 moth temporary stint writing repair manuals and taking pics of repairs. I also did a stint in Long Beach at NIT teaching Automotive repair to troubled kids trying to start a career. I could not stay due to the fact a lot of the kids didn not want to learn. I don't wrench anymore unless I need to. I now test drive cars and inspect them for collision damage for Manhiem auto auctions.

Unfortunately, we do not do Aluminum or 4130 at our shop (I wish we did though!).

Many different career fields here, thought I'd drop mine in too!

I'm Mike and I'm a structural iron worker for local 433 and when Jon's done fabercating the steel I get to climb what ever we're building sit on the column several hundred feet up and wait for the crane to swing it in so I can connect it. Basiclly he get's to build our giant building blocks and we get to crawl around on them !

On the side I do wood working I.e. Mantel's and staircase's from standard or exotic woods also baseboard and crown work, I also do paintings and graphic arts and hold shows for the pieces I create. I do well but mostly its for fun. After that I relax with wifey of eight years raise my 19 month old and prepare for the lil one coming any day.

Hi I'm Tom,

Jack of all trades, master of none... but pretty good at anything I put my mind to. I have a BS in Landscape Architecture and a BA in Liberal Arts which means that I know how to research, write, draw, design and execute. I have a solid balance of right and left brain thinking, so I can be creative and analytical.
I'm looking for work in the Landscape Architecture field or any related field such as graphic design, planning, environmental, etc. The software I'm experienced with includes AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, ArchGIS, Microsoft Office, Horticopia, and I'm a quick study, so if I don't know it, I can figure it out.

Any leads for work would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Lots to read through in this thread.

I'm Chris.

I do web development/production/design. Everything from Business Analysis, to UI/UX design, to MySQL & PHP programming, to graphic design and logo/id development. I have about 16 years experience in this.

I've also recently started up a fledgling music recording and publishing company. If you're a musician or band with written music and need a way to get it recorded, mixed, mastered, and distributed via iTunes, Amazon, and others, look me up. If you're a solo artist and need more musicians to complete your music, we can also help with that.

I'm actively looking for work, either contract or permanent.
