Rolling on 29" dubs!

check out the brooks thread. the offerings from selle anatomica are great!!! do a search on mtbr and you will find some race reviews.
i have only 2 rides on a selle anatomica titanico saddle, it is freaking amazing. they are abit pricey (start at about $100) and heavy, but they are well work the weight. if you have the cheddar, i think they make a model with ti rails. anyways, poke around the site and check out the videos and write ups they have. the saddle flat out works as designed. i got my first long ride on the titanico saddle yesterday. a mix of road, fireroad and singletrack...the saddle was amazing. i have riding saddles that i though were kinda of comfortable, but this sadldle just plain disappeared underneath me, it just felt so comfortable. don't think that this saddle is come overplush sofa with rails. you can dial in the tension you want. i just ordered another anatomica saddle, the robusto....i want to try out a narrower saddle. if i doesnt work out, i know the titanico is a winner. man...i gotta atleast three of these! gotta start selling come crap!!! specialized, selle italia and alot of other companies make saddle with cut outs. i tried them. the selle anatomica titanico is just leaps and bounds better comfort wise. they took a brooks design that works and made a saddle that is just an impeccable product. the titanico saddle and my bell sweep helmet are quite possibley the best cycling buys i have EVER and WILL EVER make! and...NO, i don't work for them or know anyone that forks for them.

While there was a lot of good info posted, here's my two cents for those who are concerned.
Buy a singlespeed. Those who ride them know that you don't spend a lot of time sitting down, anyway. |
