I know I just left Alaska and there was a real buzz up there about this. I know nothing about her but a lot of people on that flight seemed to be quite pleased with the choice.

Gotta admit, McCain is looking for the dis-enfranchised Hillary crowd of women that don't/won't back Obama because he beat their canidate. Looking at the state of her 1-term in office, it pretty much kills the Republican argument that Obama isn't ready to lead because of lack of experience.

My mother-in-law will be doing cartwheels down the street if this McCain's VP choice. She didn't care or ever worry about Hillary's positions on ANYTHING! So long as it was a woman, she was a backer.

BTW - I'm a life long Republican. It's good to see a new face in the Ol' Boy's Club.
