Lets consider 3 suggestions for new (boring and dumb ala ping pong, speed walking badmington) olympic sports. If those can be olympic "sports" then consider the possibilities.

1-Marbles
2- speed oil changes (sponsored by penzoil?)
3- Lawn mowing (no more mowing for lunch money)
4- Beer drinking (no need for pros, college athletes suffice)
5- Pie eating contest (top athletes found at carnivals)

Haha! Lawn darts! I'd watch that, especially if every now and then one went astray and impaled someone's foot or something.

One handed CROQUET is the way...cuz your other hand is holding your Bloody Mary. Fun to play, but good and boring to watch for sure.

Speed walking needs to go simply because of the sheer embarrassment it posses to any individual or country. There was great Malcom in the Middle espisode where they dad gets pretty caught up in it and it's pretty funny. However, I respectfully disagree with Ping Pong and Badminton. When played at a high level, those two sports are extremely athletic. But man, the US really sucks at them. Except for may Forest Gump. He was pretty good.

It bugs me that they're going to leave some of those real boring 'sports' and get rid of baseball/softball! The excuse for softball isn't even a good one! They claim the US is too good (uh didn't they get a silver or bronze this year?) and its unfair. Maybe the other countries should just get better. Sorry girls you're too good so we're not going to let you play anymore! What a load of.....
