My wife says that she never saw me give her "the look" three times. She also says that had she seen me give her "the look" she would have stopped.
What still what bothers me, is that it did not bother her.

it sounds like you guys need to have a sit-down and fix this.

macho shmacho misses the point in all of this, and will only upset your wife - at least it would mine. the first to get violent is the first to run out of ideas, and that's apparent to a Lady. trust each other. respect each other. talk to each other. the answers are there within, not on this forum somewhere.

Violence should always be a last resort.I never thought that way until I was sent to fight in the gulf. When you see what men/women are capable of,it changes your perspective on causing bodily harm.My 2 cents.

Personally, when I had a simular situation, when I decided someone else was getting a bit too close to my wife while we were out Dancing, I let it go for a second, then I went and cut in, and start getting my own hands on moves going on. Got an Exuse me from th3e Dude, so I turned and said, Piss off, this is my wife..... In which he just left, and we continued our night having a really good time.
Overall, you should talk to your wife, dont tell her what to do, marriage doesnt work like that, you need to make clear what you feel is ok and what is not, then you just need to trust her. Also, the looks from across the club are<please dont take this wrong> piss poor way of communicating what you feel. If the first glance doesnt get the point across, you should be geting up and gently find away to move her away from the dance floor, IE buy her another drink, or suggest its time to hop to another club. I must admit, it was probably pretty embarrasing for her when you came out on the dance floor, but I understand why you did. Sounds like some tact is in order if there if another situation like this should arise in the future. Talk it out, if she raises her voice, STOP, if you raise yours STOP.keep it at a conversation level, and remember your talking to your spouse, not someone your trying to control, thats not what it is about.

Oh God, please don't pay any mind to some of the very recent advise being given. Advocating and encouraging violence to set Rico straight is not the answer! The problem is not between you and Rico. It's between you and your wife. Now if he was molesting her and she couldn't fight him off, then some intervention would be needed. Sounds like she was in full control of the situation and knew exactly what she was doing. Been there and done that and violence will get you no where but in jail and feeling stupid with bloody knuckles. In addition, it will not impress your wife or anyone else for that matter. The only one who'll thank and love you is the bail bondsman who just made a good pop from bailing you out of jail.
She'll think you're behaving like an immature over testosteroned raging jackass. That might have been cool back in the day or back in high school and some chicks would've actually digged such reactions but as an adult, not so cool nor impressive. I feel the only time you should resort to violence is when you or your flock are feeling physically threatened and you take action in defense and to get you and yours out of harms way. The much bigger problem is getting to the root of why she's feeling the need for such shallow attention. You might not like hearing this, but she could very well be feeling neglected by you and is crying out for attention from YOU! This coming from someone who was married for a long long time and has walked in those exact shoes. Use that incident as a red flag for something much bigger potentially going wrong and make things right, if that's what you both want and you have a foundation to work with. Just my 2 cents worth of wisdom and experience. In closing, nice job of airing-out your laundry and getting some good feedback, for most part. Most men would be too proud to publicly discuss such events with close friends, let alone complete strangers. Best of luck!
