Exclamation Commuter Car 0 - 60 in 4 SECONDS !!

http://www.commutercars.com/

Built for one or two people, completly electric.

"As far as performance goes, the Tango is no slouch. Since electric cars--especially small ones--are generally thought to be slow and weak performers we set out to blow some minds by designing the Tango to accelerate through the standing 1/4 mile in 12 seconds at over 120 mph and travel from 0 to 60 mph in 4 seconds." " please can I have one?"

oh yeah the damnable thing, it costs $ 100,000.00

I was wondering the same thing! Still a cool little car. Prices should come down later on when more people start buying electrics.

It's like a recumbent four wheel motorcycle with a shell, hehe. The price is totally out there. I'd buy one for like 12-15 grand, maybe.. but I like my new G35, except that this is the first car I've owned that I can't just throw my intact bike in the back and go ride. Could you imagine putting a bike rack on the back of that thing? Scary. I guess a tiny rack on top is the way to go .

consumers may be interested in the vehicle's range. Although the Tango can be built with a fuel cell or internal combustion engine, conventional lead-acid batteries work well for most commuters. Its 80-mile range is nearly 4 times the distance the average commuter travels per day. With high-tech batteries, range could exceed 150 miles per charge.

Tango can charge to 80% in just 10 minutes from a 200 amp charging station.

They estimate a 18 k price tag in three years
