Red face Bad news good news, bad news, good news...

Bad news: As most of you know I, I took a bad fall last Sat and fractured a couple of ribs.

Good news: I got to lay around for a few days and watch tennis on TV.

Bad news: Back to work this morning only to find that they had a reduction in force and I was out of a job.

Good news: This will allow me more time to ride while I look for another

Bad news: Can't ride right now as I have broken ribs

Good news: Gives me more time to read and respond to STR boards

and on and on it goes....

Ribs are healing and still a bit sore. Must put out feelers and network looking for employment.

Good news: You can apply for unemployment online now... no more lines

Bad news: Unemployment doesn't go very far in this economy

Let me know of any opportunities in industrial sales (my background for over 20 years).

Oh well, one door closes and another one opens... it always seems to work out.

Good news: Not sure what kind of industrial sales you are in, but our company is looking for another sales manager.

Bad news: You would have to work with me a lot.

Lemme know.

Can't you just get a job as a hair model or do a shampoo commercial?

Sorry to hear that Gregg...good luck on the hunt and heal up quick so you can ride. What company did you work for? Mine is always hiring and with your background it should be basically a walk-in.

Maybe all of us unemployed STR peeps should put our head together and start something up? Just a thought.

Hope you find work soon Greg!

I saw an add on CL to drive strippers around. You get 200 bucks a night. And maybe a lap dance or two for tips

Just a thought lol

Funny you should ask... I keep trying to tell my agent the same thing!... Hard to crack into this arena... especially located in OC. Really need to be in the LA area.

Sorry to hear about the employment woes, on top of the injury. Most of us are going through tough times with the economy being as it is. Here's hoping that you heal-up and find a new job quickly.
