The City of Irvine Animal Care Center and local rescue groups will be hosting a pet adoption day on Sunday, July 27th from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. There will be more than 400 animals available to take home for the holidays. The attached flyer has details on the location and a website for additional information.

That's my local shelter and they do a fabulous job with the animals. One of the best shelters around. They have a waiting list for folks just wanting to volunteer.

When I visited they had all of the bunnies outside for fresh air/playtime. They each had their own covered play pen.
