Default Help Me Find A New Job?

Hey everyone, im looking for another part time job, because, lets face it, 7 hours a week at the bike shop isnt enough..
Anyone have any ideas? two things i really dont want to do are a courtesy clerk or a waiter. I know the tips and whatnot, but they arent interesting enough for me
Any ideas would be appreciated...

Oh, and i dont really have experience, well, i guess a few months in retail at the bike shop, but other than that no real experience, and im only 16

I cant find anything Bike related that wants to hire.. especially a striving 16 year old that wants to learn bikes!
Ive talked to Foes Racing, and a few other companies, and they jsut dont seem interested in hiring, especially me it seems since im still young

Jobs in bike shops are over rated. You need to go where there's some money to support the habit!!
Have you thought about becoming a fashion designer?
How about a movie star? I heard you're a nice looking young man!
You like animals right?
How about a vets office walking dogs and cleaning kennels?
You could be a pimp unless you have a curfew.
I would look into something with animals.
Or else a fashion designer.
Hope this helps.

Knowing what I know now I would contact all of the local companies you love and would want to work at some day when you grow up. I would ask them about an intern position. It's the easiest way to get into a company starting so young. Try Crank Bros, Felt, etc. Even if you just work for free until they need someone it is worth it in the long run.

I have asked Foes about that, and they were not interested with the idea.
As far as other companies, i would definitely inquire, but i cant drive, and foes is the only company where its close to where my family commutes so i could get dropped off... and i can only ride my bike so far in one day LOL

(old man voice) When I was young we had to take the bus to work, or the beach, or the skate ramp if it was too far to skate to. [up hill both ways in the freezing snow]

well, the riding isnt a big deal, heck 26 miles to my work and grandparents shop, and i rode it twice to get ther... problem is, since its so hot, i have nowhere to shower off
and being 16, i think i smell pretty bad after sweating on a ride

why not get a little creative. Start your own buisness mow some lawns walk some dogs but do it so all the money you earn is yours. Your young and im sure quite imaganitive find something and make it work for you with the limitations you have. Or just steal smaller kids lunch money.

LOL....

dude, you missed the boat for the best summer job ever! I was a lifeguard for a city for like 5 years! Best job ever!

being under 18 sucks for you at the moment... lots of people wont even think about hiring someone under 18.

Look at your local city's webpage, they are always hiring parks/rec people.

did you have knee pads when you were under the table?
