Nice!! Now go buy an "XP-upgrade" (less than $100), and you'll have a nice computer with a nice OS

That's a tank and I wouldn't exactly consider it a laptop. A portable desktop replacement, maybe. 2 things to consider.

1. Upgrade the HD to a 7200 rpm's.
2. Purchase extended warranty with maybe accidental coverage. Laptops/portables are so damn prone to breaking. More times then not, it's a worth while investment.

Since you're the president, don't you have to be at a rice rocket/car drifting meeting @ the Elks lodge tonight, big hat and all? Why are you still here? Go, get on, get out of here, scoot, punk!

You poor soul. Vista is such a dawg!
Nobody would be buying this OS unless Micro$haft wasn't forcing the OEMs to push it off on the poor hopeless home PC buyer.

XP Pro is one of the best OSes the Evil Empire ever created. I've moved onto OS X and am happy as a clam. Thank the gods for VMWare though since I also have a few applications requiring XP.

VMWare Fusion on a MacBook Pro is a dream come true.

OMG, Mike, does that thing actually fire up and work?

Although I'm sure it runs your everyday applications just fine, more importantly, can you somewhat easily modify your recycle bin icon to resemble a toilet?

Hazaaahh! I thought not

3GB should run Vista just fine.
