Default Some tasty finds at BevMo- (beer)

A new BevMo opened up in Ladera Ranch so I just HAD to use the $10 off coupon and check out the new store. Found some tasty looking things to try...

This looked really interesting...Anyone ever tried this?

The details.

More and more good beer is coming out in cans. This says it is in between a double and single IPA, so being a hophead I had to give it a shot.

8.7% in a can!

This stuff is yummy!

Stone 12th anniversary. It just might be cold enough to try this one tonight.

Have a pint of the Stone Bitter, Paulener Oktoberfest Amber, Flying Horse Lager (from India, should be interesting), and Bear Republic Racer 5 IPA cooling in the fridge as we speak. Had a Polish (Zukwickz?) Porter last night that was okay.

I love the DFH 90-Minute IPA, but the Palo didn't really do it for me ... especially given that it's 14 bucks for a four-pack. Much better values out there, IMHO.

That's a Lagunitas ale. Good stuff. I haven't been able to find it for a while, though. Where'd you get it?

My hot-weather beer of choice right now is Drake's Blonde Ale. Bolder than the typical summer ale, but really refreshing on a hot day. Available at BevMo.

had a pint of the stone anniversary bitter chocolate stout at Pizza port this past weekend. I'll go ahead and say its one heck of a chocolate stout! Even if you call it a bitter chocolate stout it still goes beyond that.

either way, tastes aside its a well made and overall good tasting beer.

I feel bad for those who will be drinking it in the heat of the day at the festival.

Nice choice in beers. Has anyone drank Kokanee, or Kokanee Gold? I know it's not the same quality beer, but does anyone know where to find it. I first had it in Whistler about 10 years ago, and I drink it every time I'm there. I can't find it anywhere in So Cal. I asked someone at BevMo, and he had never heard of it.
