Loop'n on my Heckler
![]() |
Maybe I missed someone else's post, but for me the ultimate stress relief is leaving work & watching my kids play.
![]() Of course, now that they're 18 & 14 the slip 'n slide is obsolete. I just spent a GREAT 5 hours on the pool deck watching my son compete in a water polo tournament and I'm totally relaxed. I know there are a LOT of hyper parents at sporting events but what a great way for me to escape my daily grind & watch my kids excel & smile. It's amazing how much he & I can talk about on the way home. Pacman - Again, the need for concentration comes in and you have to be totally focused on what you're doing. How very true. My other stress reliever requires TOTAL concentration for both safety and success. ![]() ![]() Oh yeah, looking at fisheys is good too! |

Ways I relieve stress on a regular basis (besides riding):
1. Wake up early, don't rush and eat breakfast outside on the porch 2. Ride to and from work 3. Read "Best Of" Craiglist 4. Take the dogs to the dog park and see who can run faster 5. Lift weights but don't count the reps 6. Hit up the hot tub and pool multiple times a week 7. Make a to-do list for the next day before I go to sleep at night. Getting all those thoughts out makes it A LOT easier to get some rest |

My other forms of stress reflief:
Unhealthy: Playing with the XBOX Veg in front of the TV Surf the net Healthy: Watching my kids laugh and play Wash and wax my Element and hand scrub the wheels and tires. The more stressed I am, the cleaner the car gets. Play airsoft Take pics with my D-SLR and Point-and-shoot cameras Write (I write product reviews and I was a one-time staff writer for a defunct magazine)
