Been playing my ipod thru fm and it just sux!
Thinking about getting an aftermark adapter. Recently came across this. Looks pretty easy to install. Just sharing for those other with similar manuf toyota/lexus if of any similar interest. also anyone have any experience with this or other hard wire alternatives? link to product & install instrux -> http://www.acceleroto.com/pa15toy/ ![]()

Ive been looking for an ipod to car interface for my Tacoma too. This looks pretty interesting and simple to install. I might give this a try.
Theres another company that makes something similar to what you mentioned. Its called Ipod2Car and basically installs the same way. http://www.peripheralelectronics.com/ |

I have used a similar interface they work ok they use the cd changer control of the radio to control and play the ipod not great sound but much better than fm modulators

Ive been looking into doing something different for my scion but was always told with the stock head unit I could either use my sirius or ipod but both could nto be hooked up at the same time

I have seen it done with both but you have to run a relay and toggle switch system to make it work it is a little complicated but it can be done.

it woudl be easier to just install an aftrmarket head unit that has both imputs, plus they make awsome cheap double din dvd setups

I installed an Ipod2Car in my GMC Sierra. The sound is pretty good in my opinion. Hardest part of the install was fitting the control box behind the dash. That and trying to figure out which of the orange wires to the stereo was the power. The wiring I blame on GM though.
