Default Job openning for Technical Animator

I don't know how many STRer's are game developers, but I thought I'd post this.

http://www.carbinestudios.com/jobs/

I am in charge of choosing the Technical Animator so if you had any specific questions you could PM me. I could also answer any questions regarding the other positions but that's not my dept.

This isn't a senior position, (In fact we could bring on someone quite Junior if they showed promise) but you must have some examples of characters you have rigged in the past.

Salary is $50,000 - $60,000. Depending on experience.

There are about 4 or 5 of us that ride at Aliso Woods almost every day at lunch so that's a nice perk.

Not an animator, but isn't Carbine the ones that are working on some big MMORPG? Sounds like a fun gig

How about this guy? It looks like he's also in the animation field...maybe he's qualified?

tbowren,

If I can suggest something, would you be willing to contact the animation department at Mt. Sac in walnut, ca? I graduated from the animation: traditional & digital + animation: 3d programs over there. good programs when I went through.

I figure that there might be some interest generated by those in the program currently. I'll send word to my old classmates to see if anyone is interested.

I'll notify the HR about this school. Normally they take care of such posts, but I thought it would be cool to offer it up here.
