Default Pet Sitter Recommendation?

I was wondering if anyone has used any pet sitting services regularly that they could recommend in the HB area?

I'll be going out of town for 16 days at the end of July and my mother usually comes and stays at my place to watch over things, gets my mail and hangs with the cats but this time she may not be able to.

I'm leery about getting someone I don't know to tool about my home but my felines are getting up there in years so I'd rather keep them at home than board them somewhere. If anyone has any recommendations, send a PM my way please.

Thanks!

Hmmmm...I wonder what could be so important that you need a pet sitter?

I just cover Upland and surrounding cities but good you're using references. Try your local vet and groomers to see who they suggest, also. Maybe come home a day before you tell them to see how things are really kept till you know they are responsible. I'm sure you'll find someone great.....no one does it as good as me but oh well.

Congrats Rachel...

A friend of mine from church, and highly recommended by my parents and their friends, has been known to take care of homes and pets while the owners are away. If you would like his information, as well as references, please shoot me a PM. Let me know.

I don't trust any of my friends or what not to take care of my dogs when I'm gone. Maybe a cat but I still don't know.
We go way out of our way to take our dogs here. http://www.kennelclubresort.com/ They take cats too. I know our dogs get treated very well at that place. I think they get treated better then I do on vacations. They get extra play time, swim time and even friggin dog ice cream. Hey, it hurts to kennel them so when we do they get the best.
