There are a dozen brand names here in spain, and I have no clue about them. IŽd greatly appreciate some insight on a few of the better European brands.
The only brands that I've recognized in spain so far are, Trek, Giant and Scott.

Hey Herold. First off, glad to see you made it to Spain ok.
Second, if you could list the brands that you have questions about it would be helpful. |

Orbea makes awesome frames, expensive but very nice.
BMC is swiss and also makes some very nice frames. Then you've all the italian ones that I won't even try and spell... A list of what your local shops carry would be nice. What part of Spain are you in? Oh and don't buy a with the Migros name on it. |

Orbea is a Spanish company, but most of their bikes are made in China.
Buy a French bike? Yah, okay. |

What should I put here?

Bionicon is a German company, with a U.S. division. All the engineering and design work is done in-house in Germany, but the bikes in the U.S. are assembled and built here.

1) How much would it cost to "SHIP" the Iron Horse to Spain?
2) Considering the fact you have limited funds, I would probably go with another hardtail. Cheaper! 3) Would it be cheaper to have a bike purchased locally (i.e. Adrenaline/Jenson etc.) and have the bike shipped to Spain? Note: Both dealers are experienced with regard to shipping internationally. 4) Have you tried a bike search using YAHOO Spain? http://es.yahoo.com/ 5) How 'bout ebay Spain? http://www.ebay.es/ If you need anything.... ![]()

> I'll have to look into that. 2) Considering the fact you have limited funds, I would probably go with another hardtail.
