Nerd is the word (NBR)

So the other day I’m in a corporate meeting and they do some of that “silly” (i.e. stupid). Get to know your peers games.

One such game included telling everyone some personal fun stuff, hobbies, etc. as well as one thing about you that makes you a nerd.

Huh, really, nerdy stuff. I was down with the cool stuff as I mos def gots plenty. Although it might be hard to pick just one but at least the inventory is there.

Anyway, back to the dilemma. One thing about me that is nerdy. Unheard of. Me, no way fellas.

I ridden trails east and west, I boarded all over North and South America, i got mad verb with the laydeees. They must be talking to the wrong guy, right?.

Anyway after much self contemplation, I recall back in the day before ipizzles, my friends used to bust on me BIG for the fact that I had somthing like ~1,500 CDs in alphabetical order (by band). Why was this so unusual? I would think how the hell would you find a CD you want in such a huge mass without some sort of “filing”. We’ll apparently bro’s and girlfriends alike all thought it was way ghey

So seeing this is all I could come up with and tossed it up to appease the peasants – groups satisfied and they moved on to the next victim

All my shirts including about 60 t shirts, pants, hoodies etc... are all hung in my closet grouped together and from light to dark ALWAYS. I think this may be more OCD then nerd but figured i'd offer it up.

Its not OCD, because I do the same thing. I think I one up you, because I group them first (long sleeve, short sleeve, short sleeve polo.....) then I order the groups by color

I record EVERYTHING in a Microsoft Excel worksheet.

At one point or another I've had spreadsheets recording:

-Nutrition/Exercise Log (When I was really hardcore I was recording all calories, fat, carbs, protein, fiber of all foods I ate to calculate my total percentage of fat/carb/protein in pie chart form (that didn't last long))
-GPS Data of my Daily Commute (Total time, avg MPH, time stopped)
-Movie Collection, Music Collection, Books I've read and how much I liked them (including all sorts of cross referencing columns)
-Running Training Plan
-Monthly Budget integreted with my Monthly Spending (from bank statement and cash spending)
-Daily Water Intake
-Daily Urine Observations (What time, how bad the urge was, what color, also linked to the Daily Water Intake worksheet
-Recipes/Meal Ingredient List with Nutritional Data
-LISTS! Grocery Lists, Christmas Lists, Things I Want to Buy List, etc etc
-I'm sure there's more I'll edit if I remember anymore

It's funny though that when it comes to actual physical stuff (closet, room, etc) I am a total slob!

Well, i guess the only thing I can think of is the one thing my wife taunts me about. When I put together a burrito or fajita I do it in such an organized and methodical way. EVery bite has the same amount of ingredients.

thanks for the tips. I've never thought of organizing my closet in such a manner. I'll give it a shot.

In highschool, after football games, I would skip the party to go home and play online video games

Wow...lets see...my list is pretty long. I bought a Honda Element in 06 and joined the owners online club...and then went to a few meets to check out the mods. (g-e-e-k) Now I'm on a Ridgeline owners club site(which helps me fix stuff I'll have you know).... uhmmm....I have a really cool stereo, which for a woman is weird I think? I play most of my DVD's through my xbox....and I love grand theft auto (the game) My beside table has one drawer comprising of techy gear....psp, head pieces, flashlights, misc old cell phones...ipods, and wires.....

I could go on....but I shouldn't.

I do the same thing, but only because my stepfather told me that was how they pack a duffel bag when he was in the Army. It drives my wife crazy though.

Like I said before, the closet is organized by style and color. Even my tie rack too. I keep all shoe boxes so that I can stack my shoes better. I have shoe trees for all dress shoes.
