I guess being able to post on STR from a smartphone during a ride qualifies.

I can also build computers, do html websites, solder, wear glasses, eat chicken wings with a fork, tuck in my shirt, wash my hands after going to the bathroom, keep my wallet in my front pocket of my pleated and cuffed pants, wear white socks with black pants, sport tightie whities, get buzzed off one beer and puke after two, I like eating brussel sprouts, involuntary excessive use of the word um when leaving phone messages and giving speeches, saying yes more often than I should to the opposite sex.............................

Wow I feel kind of normal after all that.

Actually I use excel for lists too but not as much as Tara. One weird habit is that I eat my Tic Tacs in pairs of 2 so I always know how many are left in a box. I've done this since HS and have no idea where or why I started to do it. If you ask me for a Tic Tac I will give you 2 or 4, 6, 8, etc. I like to recycle and see every bottle as a shiny nickel. I love cutting coupons....99% of the time I won't even use them but there is something relaxing about sitting there cutting them and not just cutting them but cutting them ALONG THE LINES!

I have a 5 year supply of motor magazine. Its a industry related tech help( for Mechanics) thing, complete with a trouble solving segment where you send in what you think is wrong with the car/truck.Yes I have sent in my thoughts and have got a few right.I have a list of cars I worked on and what I did to fix it.I cant stand clutter things have to be in there spot and facing the right way.You should see my tool box!Everything has its place, and no one can borrow my tools.I wax my box every two weeks, I dont even wash my car.But hey it is black with Red anodized handles and it cost me 7K.I have a habit of making my refrigerator a sticker board.

I like to play video games, but haven't had much time for that lately (too many new bikes). I am a big excel sheet creator, but I don't see that as nerdy, just as SMART. You will never see me go into debt!

Excercise data is all kept on my polar software stuff, wont do any rides without it and then I spend a couple hours just fidling with the training software

Default I Eat 'Em

I often beat up the WOW guys at work and take their lunch money.

I sometimes spend my lunch break dunking nerds in the toliets.

When computers freeze up, I CTRL+Del+headbutt.

(Looks around...)
I'm one of the few crew chiefs who can dance through our computer data bases.
I read up on prevention and cause of stress fractures in airframes.
I understand and research penal, vehicle, and federal laws...for fun.
I know why my bike is made the way it's made and the purpose behind each of the welds and pivot points.
I also know way too much about suspension and tire compounds and I look this up and research it 'cause I think it's cool.
While other guys are surfing the net trying to find pictures of naked chicks that aren't filtered by the USAF, I'm trying Wikipedia-ing Battlestar Galactica.

I'm with bighit8 on this one. It's amazing the amount of tech bulletins that you can accumulate in 15 years.... Then all of the engineering drawings of the cars I work with, the amount of tools that I've had to make on my lathe and mill because they don't make them anymore, the amount of money Snap-On tools has taken from me for exchage for a little chrome thingy's. Now I'm spending more and more on bike tools. When does it end? I've got a few years on Bighit8, but $350K in hand tools later and I'm still finding new tools I NEED..

I'm a self admitted car geek.

I have a separate File cabinet for tools. It is never ending.I Bought an electrical adapter set for Mercedes that works with the Fluke oscilloscope and the fluke (fluke 22 If I recall) which I rarely use now 3000 dollars later.Plus a scan tool from Otc ( the matco version)with all the upgrades and a 5 gas analyzer that put me back another 10k Or so.I still have my Snap-on Mt 2500 as well.I still need to update the software to access all the systems that are on cars now.The newest updates are CAN 1A and 1B.What do I have to buy next when OBD 3 is in full swing??????

Just an example of a car I figured out.It was a 1996 Ford Ranger that would stall intermittently after a rain.Ran fine otherwise. So I broke out the hose and doused the truck for 30 minutes. I traced the problem to a tool box mounted in the bed.The screws were to long and went into the gas tank just under the bed.So when the bed got water in it, it would seep into the gas tank.

It's alway fun to trace the untraceable by the ordinary mechs! I got away from street cars about 12 years ago. Currently work on nothing but exotic vitage race cars!

I knew a guy that was really into MATH and got into a car accident because he was trying to figure out if the car in front of him had a license plate that was a prime number
