Most fitting post for the pub:
Some friends bought me a very nice bottle of single malt "cask strength" scotch. It's a brand (Laphroig) I've been drinking for years, just not the "cast strength." Has anyone had experience with this and what would be a good "cut" ratio with water as it's about impossible to drink "neat." ![]() We plan on sampling this after dinner and I don't want to over cut it.

You just put about a teaspoon in. It should be good water (not tap) and also not cold. Room temp. Enjoy!

I'm thinking that I can always add some more water so maybe I'll start with a small amount like you're suggesting. Dood, my days of drinking challenges are long over. ![]()

Marines are always welcome! Some of my best friends have served in or are in the corps.
