Thumbs up Happy Father's Day!

Just wanted to wish all you Dad's out there a Happy Father's Day! And to some of you I know who are celebrating it for the first time, congrats.

It's pretty easy to 'father' a child, but it takes hard work and dedication to be a dad. Lots of good ones on here. Enjoy your day gents!

You are right there Gene, my baby turns 19 today so I have had a few years to practice this stuff. No plans for the day today, we took her out to dinner last night to avoid the Fathers Day rush today, anyway it worked out good for my wife and I after both of us working the Poker Ride (pouring beer is hard work )

Thumbs up Thanks grasshoppers...

Having children is a challenge and a reward in its self these days .. there are so many more scary things out there to protect them from.... but I never realized how much you could love something until I had them.

I do want to acknowledge my lovely wife who shares everything with me... even Stair Steps ... for without her, I could never have been a father and experienced the things I have and the things to come.

Happy Father's Day to everyone.

Default sorry guys...but i'm #1 :)

sorry to say but according to my little ripper it is confirmed I am the world's #1 dad as evidenced by the coffee mug i received this am filled to the brim with pre-ride coffee!

of course i could be a bit dillusional as i already started to tap into a portion of my other gifts from mom and the grom (i get the fat tire...but u think they are telling me something with "other selection)

Nothing like a 6 pack to follow a 3 park party pack (oaks, irvine, peters).

cant wait to spend the rest of day as the king with family...a guy could get used to this!!!

j/k happy fathers day to ALL the pops!!!

Default Happy Father's Day to all the other Dads

No riding for me today since I am still sore from the Mud Run at Camp Pendleton yesterday (much fun!)

My three "little" ones (I say "little" since I am the runt of the house at 6'3") are out shopping for Dad's dinner:

Bill Bailey's Santa Maria Style Tri Tip
Baked taters
fresh baked bread
salad

and Firestone Walker Double Barrel Ale

Ron in SD

Between Fathers' Day, graduations and kids coming back from college, I haven't had a MTB ride in 8 days. It's OK. My kids took me to the River for a GREAT weekend. Friday - 106; Saturday - 113; Sunday - 117!!!.

We took LOTS of boat and ski rides. Last night we had an awesome night cruise listening to my 18 Y.O.'s latest Ipod tunes. Of course, I got some beer, some Gu's and some tubes.

Now, I'm ready for a ride.

spent my first fathers day working a swim meet (for the 2nd job) at our home pool. not what i wanted to be doing (LA Roadster show with my dad and kid), but it was still a good weekend. unfortunately, I didn't get to spend a whole lot of time with the grommet.

in addition to post above father day means another rig for the stable

however someone must have misinterpreted the rules of the day. It was my boy that got a new bike on fathers day.

no worries, got to spend the afternoon 'riding' with him.

He's a natural on the SS - posting up some mad times riding around the block
