I STILL have my Associated B4, Kyoshos ZX-5, Associated T4, Jammin buggy with re-sleeved motor that STILL needs to be broken in, Kyosho MP 7.5 roller, E-Maxx, and Losi LST II. I gotta sell some of these. I think I'll keep the gassers though.

Not when the cars go a scale 400mph. It'll almost be impossible to see and react to the turns coming up, and the other cars around you.

There's no such thing as scale speed. 30 mph is 30 mph, no matter the size of the vehicle.

Scale to what? a car? does that mean a monster truck is going a scale 4,000 MPH? cuz those are huge, and the scale sounds crazy to me. Not sure what you meant, but i dont believe there is a scale speed, like said before, 30 MPH is 30 MPH

You know the feeling that you are going slower in an SUV than in a car going the same speed? The closer you are to the ground, the faster you feel. Imagine going 30mph 2" off the ground. It would feel like 300mph. It's a matter of perception and perspective as well.

ahhhhh Rc anything THE LAZY MANS SPORT!!
I miss playing with my rc car though! thats what I used to do before I discoverd bikes, and skateboards Here is a scale model example of what I looked like at 13 and into rc cars. ![]() I remember when socal raceway moved to huntington beach they had a red phone on the wall that was a direct line to either CARLS JR or the pizza place and they would bring your food to you even though they were in the same parking lot. ahhhhh good times! ![]()

Socal was where I started racing. I never did make it to Sportman class
, looks like I missed my chance, oh well. I then got bit by the nitro bug and started racing at Revelation. Gas was fun, but it sucked when I couldn't find a good pitman. I still haven't raced the new track. One of these days I'll head out and race in the beginner class just for fun.Quote:
