It's a common term for people who need to get their rocks off by saying their toy car goes 400mph, sure.

There is no such thing as scale speed. It is a construct by people who need to feed their ego.

Actually it's widely used in marketing, but
you're missing the point.

Not all R/C cars are off-roaders. Wouldn't be too hard to retrofit on to a gas-powered street car.

Please show me this wide use of scale speed in RC marketing. The current market leader for units sold in the RC industry is Traxxas, by a LONG way, and they measure in real MPH.

I get the point. I disagree with said point and you're straight up wrong about scale speed.

It'd be like playing a video game, only with vomiting from the false sense of motion.
