Well the brakes in the rear are on that side so the forks must go that way too.....
when I was a kid I had a neighbor that had his bmx bike all screwed up like that...gooseneck was backwards....his dad built the bike and had no idea...I fixed it for him and my dad suggested that I check every nut and bolt...good thing there were a bunch not even tight

You wouyld be amazed how many DSB's come in like that, and worst yet, how many times we hear, "It was like that when we bought it" Scary thought, but then again, DSB's are toys not bikes
