Depending on the time of year the pics were taken they would all be there for one thing... a little snake style!!! or better put... mating to make more little rattlers!!!!! Yeah baby!!!

dude thats not a species we have in OC im not good enough to name the species but I can tell what species they arent! also the plants dont line up with the santa anas , isnt that creosote !!!

this reminds me of a email that went around a while back that showed a bunch of rattlers and a massive alligator that were found while extending the orlando airport

It's not true ( the pics are, but it wasn't in orlando), but I will always remember that because I was working about a mile from where they were extending the runway, and it freaked me out for a little while.

Pic's been going around for about two weeks.......we received it from someone claiming it was in Wyoming.

A resident snake expert says: "that it is a den of Prairie Rattlesnakes (Crotalus Viridis). This is how they hibernate - in big groups. They usually emerge in spring and have a big orgy, and then go off to do snake things for the summer."

Regardless of the location.....it's a pretty impressive site, but definitely not local.
