It would be tolerable if they only played it once a week. Instead, it's on 3 times a day on Star & KROQ.

"AND I CAN HIT A TARGET THROUGH INTELLISCOPE
THROUGH INTELLISCOPE THROUGH INTELLISCOPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! " That song was catchy the first 200 times they played it. Now that's up to 100000000000000000000 times, it's starting to grate a little bit. ![]() |

For those of you that remember,
George Hincapie tried it in 2006 Paris-Roubaix, didn't work out so well for him. Bummer! http://www.velonews.com/photo/34344 |

People knocking the song need to listen to message, not just the freaking chorus. The radio stations always play songs too often. I love how great songs with strong political messages come out during election years. Check out some good videos from the last election: Eminem-Mosh( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VOLMVQa0KD8 ), A Perfect Circle-Counting Bodies Like Sheep( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aizz0o9fPWU ).

The link still works, here it is again.
I think because the video is hosted on YouTube Canada it doesn't embed in this website but links fine. |

Crank it out

The fact that it's hip-hop-ish might turn some people off. The fact that the song actually has meaning might, well, turn the others off.
However, the song itself is good. And the music video is better than most I've seen. But, if you play a song 10 billion times over, no matter what it is, it's too much. I see it both ways. ![]()

Overplayed, probably (what new, catchy songs AREN'T overplayed?!)...but still, it's nice to see music with a message. I've never heard it (except the chorus/hook) as I don't listen to KROQ.
This song is VERY Cake-inspired, to the point where this could almost be mistaken for a Cake song. Anyone else catch the similarities?
