What are some of the things you want to accomplish in your life? How do you plan on doing it?
For me I fantasize every day about riding a bike around the world for a few years. I can't stop thinking about it. I read online journals and books about world travelers and I've even gone as far as to start planning a route and some of the logistics even though I know I won't be able to do it for another few years. It keeps me excited about it and it can't hurt to be well prepared. What kind of goals do you have? Do you think about it all the time? What goals or feats have you already accomplished? |

Last year I hit 2 travelling goals - the durango - moab hut to hut trip, and cycling through vietnam. Absolute dream trips that I finally got to do after many years of thinking about it. ALso on my list are hiking to the top of kilamanjaro, hiking the inca trail in peru, cycling through china, cycling in copper canyon, cycling the mah de hey, cycling through tuscany, .. so many places, so little time! For a long time I thought about thru-hiking the appalachian trail (I have done a number of shorter hikes along it), but as I started biking more and hiking less, the appeal of that waned.....also if I was lucky enough to get 6 months off I think I'd rather be abroad. edit: oh yea and I want to go see the mayan ruins as well, and travel the yucatan. |

I'm down and I bet Walsh would do it if you could carry enough PBR with you.
