I'd like to grow up, finish high school, go to college and graduate.
after that i want to get married and have kids. i'd also like to race a few expert or pro races and place in the top 5. im pretty simple and i like making my goals realistic. i also hope to own a bike shop or design and produce bike frames or design new shocks/fork or something in those terms ![]()

I've done a lot of cool stuff, and there isn't anything in particular that I really want to do, but there's a lot of stuff I'd like to do again.
My real goal though it to get a full time faculty tenured position at the college where I can teach at night and work at the bike shop during the day.

It's early in the morning to try to remember this list....but then, if I don't do it now I'll forget.
Yes....DUSTY is a girl....and one of my favorite-st riding friends ever!!! You give her a chance to be deep and she'll tell you a thing or two. She truly rocks. (It would be nice if she was allowed into the girls forum tho!!!) Okay onto the list. 1. A simple one is to ride Catalina....ride, camp etc. No biggie right? 2. A difficult one is to ride Tibet, ending at base camp. (there is actually an organized ride) I was in China last year when I found this ride. 3. See Aus., Italy, Scotland and France. (with a bike and a surfboard) 4. To backpack for a month around one of those countries. (with a bike) 5. To drive across the US. (with a bike and a kayak) 6. To ride all the trails everyone talks about....(with a kayak)(jk)

1) Own a home (working on that)
2) Be in top physical shape (working on that) 3) Continue to evolve as a healthy, happy individual (i.e. be in top mental shape, working on that) 4) Move out of LA 5)Scrapbook the lives of all future nieces and/or nephews LOL 6) Go on crazy active adventures abroad (ie travel) 7) Volunteer as much as I possibly can 8 ) Lot's more.... --- Stuff I'd love to do but may not get to: 1) Learn to write/speak Farsi FLUENTLY so I can speak with my relatives (Swedish too) 2) Learn Spanish (if I continue to live in Southern California) 3) Learn/master at least the basics of Photography 4) Own a doggy! 5) Learn more advanced programming and website design 6) Learn all about the mechanics of cars so I can know if I'm getting ripped off (or do the repairs myself!) Win the Lotto, twice.
Touch outer space in a jet, pulls some G's. Learn to ride a motorbike. Travel across the USA with no restrictions on time and budget and cycling the best trails with my mates from the UK. Repeat the above but across Europe. Get a couple of laps in at the Nurburgring with Sabine Schmitz at the wheel. Own a RUF Porsche. And I'd like to do pretty much every adventure holiday you see in the back of the Mens Journal magazine. |

I've been in Asia, Europe, and north of the Arctic Circle. l'd like to visit places where you go to see Nature not what man has built, Galapagos, Antarctica.
Be a space-tourist. Publish a polynomial-time solution to an NP-complete problem and a one-page proof of Fermat's LT. I'll have to live a long time. |

Finish the Counting Coup. I did two years ago, but DNF'ed last year. I need redemption
Finish the Vision Quest, a couple of years away. Bike to the top of White Mtn. (Inyo NF), maybe this summer Bike from Chalfant Valley (Bishop) to the top of White Mtn. Hang glide off of White Mtn. and land in my parent's backyard. Mom said she'd kill me if it did that. (I still need to learn to hang glide) Ride with my wife in the Counting Coup. Surf with my son in Costa Rica. Do a century road ride with my daughter. Buy a road bike. Kayak from the mainland to Santa Cruz Island. Kayak the costal waterway of Alaska. Retire in a few years and ride like Abui!

For now:
1.- Have enough money that it will be the last thing to worry about, and worry about what's important like health and family. 2.- Be my daughter's hero. 3.-Visit a new country every year. 4.-Go to Brazil during Carnaval. 5.-Go to every country in South America. 6.-Run a marathon(I can't run). 7.-Be under 200 lb (almost there). 8.-Be a better rider so I can keep up with any group ride at any trail. |
