it installed perfect, but when i go to click on the "limewire 4.16.7" one after its installed, its just wont open.....it doesnt freeze or load or anything it just acts like i never even clicked on it

can you help me please!!!

disable your fire wall... only when using it.

sounds like the java vm isn't loading properly.

I'll try and help out. Make sure that your Java platform is fully updated. The actual LimeWire program runs off it. Once updated, try again. If no luck go ahead and do a complete uninstall/reinstall. I had this problem while running Mandrake Linux, so I don't know if it will be the same as on a Windows box.

I gave up on limewire. Gnutella's not what it used to be. I highly recommend making the move to bit torrents.

use torrents to download limewire pro

i tend to only use limewire for specific individual songs

people still use limewire? I thought the "bay" + utorrent was the way to go, no? If you're looking for music, go with amazon. better.

A new, free and legal way to acquire music is ChiliRec. Kinda like a DVR for internet radio. No more illegal than using a televison DVR to record your favorite shows (legal as long as you don't distribute or sell).

Not to mention that many ISPs are now blocking Limewire.
