it installed perfect, but when i go to click on the "limewire 4.16.7" one after its installed, its just wont open.....it doesnt freeze or load or anything it just acts like i never even clicked on it

I'll try and help out. Make sure that your Java platform is fully updated. The actual LimeWire program runs off it. Once updated, try again. If no luck go ahead and do a complete uninstall/reinstall. I had this problem while running Mandrake Linux, so I don't know if it will be the same as on a Windows box.

I gave up on limewire. Gnutella's not what it used to be. I highly recommend making the move to bit torrents.
