Coachella 2008
I never post, but I hadn't seen a Coachella thread. This is my fifth time in the desert, and I am never disappointed. I attended Friday and Saturday, but opted out of Sunday. I went mainly for The Verve, Jack Johnson, Portishead, Death Cab, and Rilo Kiley. My faves at the end of the weekend were The National, Cold War Kids, Jens Lekman, and Black Kids. Oh, Hot Chip is amazing. The type of music and the heat may not be for everyone, but it is definitely an experience worth repeating every year. Sorry, no pictures. On an end note, Prince definitely stole the show.

Prince is a mutha f'er live. That guy puts on a performance! On that note, I also saw him get boo'ed off stage opening for the Stones. I also saw him at his club in LA in the 80's... he went OFF! Great show...
