Car mechanic recommendations

I have a '93 Ford van that needs some work, and I'm wondering if anyone here knows a good mechanic. The work needed is pretty significant, and may involve dropping the engine.

I haven't had the greatest luck with the local dealership, and their prices are pretty high.

There is a guy in Los Alamitos.
I don't know the name of the shop, but the owner is named Sarkis.
Take Los Al Blvd north past Katella. Then the last left before Cerritos (where Tubby's Liquor is-Sausalito).
Sarkis' place is on the right (and left). He is always busy and always took great care of my family. Really good prices. His popularity means you may have to wait a little longer to have it completed.
*Caveat - I have not been there in a number of years, so I don't know if this still holds true.
