Default How to reduce our carbon footprint

Instead of running additional trains, just pack more people into the ones you already have.

That's the way it is! I've been to Japan several times and it's really really tight in the trains

I love how people are actually running toward other doors just so they can get crammed into another car. I hope those cars are airconditioned! Can some one give me a hand I dropped my cell phone.

I prefer this method:

My latest shuttle vehicle....

I've now done four rides in the past two weeks using the metro system and my bike to get to trailheads. I've used my car twice in the past three weeks (both to far away trailheads, with others riding in the car). Admittedly, the four-bus, two metro subway ride round trip from my place to Agoura was a gruelling 4.5 hour round trip by public transport. I just wanted to prove it could be done.

But I don't live in Tokyo .

BTW, anyone remember the train fiasco in China around their new years?

Actually, most trains are that way. The next train is usually not more than 7 minutes following

Wow what if someone has GAS? If the train wrecks its like human air bags.
I could never be on that train. I don't like strangers touching me.

that is on a everyday basis in Japan specially on rush hour.. it is expensive to rent a tube(where you can sleep if you get left by the train) so workers pack themselves to get home..

d@mn, looks to me like those uniformed "pushers" have a license to "cop a feel" without recourse, wonder how much they have to pay to get that job.

I was in hong kong for business and they pack the elevators with the same reckess abandon. f'n crazy...nothing like riding 2x the max weight capabity
