They can make polycarbonate without BPA -- Camelbak is now

But yeah, i've got a bunch of them too. I heard about this a while back -- I just don't leave water in em long.

Is this considered a recall? In other words, is Nalgene obligated to make free replacements available? I have about eight of those too. I shouldn't have to send them to the local landfill and buy new ones because Nalgene couldn't keep dangerous chemicals out of its product.

Hey, shouldn't they know what chemicals are safe and what are not? Nalgene's main business is plastics for the medical industry and chemical testing.
