Pappy is still the most clutch hitter in the play offs period something the the Angels have never had a clutch hitter in the playoffs. So all you anaslime fans live it up right now because once the playoffs happen and your stuggling to get the wildcard playoff spot the sox and Big Pappi will be hitting just fine and bye bye another stellar Anaslime season
![]() Oh and don't say well Garret Anderson had Pink eye because Dee Zee Doug gave him something in his eye, or this other guy had the flu. "I am out Romey"

The Lake Show is hitting on all cylinders now and starting to shed the Shaq hangover. Kobe has elevated his game (if that's even possible) to such a height that it's clear he's the best two-way player in the game (if that wasn't already obvious).
Funny how roles are reversed, Kobe is now the one doing and saying all the right things, and Shaq is the spoiled, out of shape baby who lashes out at anyone who can no longer afford to carry his big @ss. (e.g. Riley and the Heat). They're going to be a force in the playoffs. If they get Bynum back for the playoff run and he can give a handful of productive minutes that'll be icing on the cake. They're loaded either way - and isn't it the greatest feeling in the world for them to know that when a playoff game gets tight (and you know one or two will) they just happen to have the surest thing in the NBA, a straight up killer, on their squad! Go Lakers!! The Dodgers? Who cares, they suck and I'm a Padres fan ![]() |

Went to the Lakers game tonight and it was AWSOME!! First time for me at staples so it was pretty cool to be there to watch them play. The game was pretty much a blow out but there were still plenty of fun times.
So this means Lakers play Denver right? We'll walk all over em if thats the case. I'd rather play Denver than Golden state. |

One of the closest and toughest conference races I've seen in a long time, if not ever. Western Conference 1st through 6th seeds are separated by only 2.5 games and 1st through 8th seeds, by 7.5 games. Compare that to the east where 1-8 are 28 games apart. Lots of high quality and potent teams out in the west.
If the Lakers stay healthy through the playoffs, continue to involve their bench and not rely on Kobe to be the only scorer, it's not too far fetched to see them as the Western Conference champs. When they reach the finals, it will be most likely vs. Boston and that will be an awesome series. It's been too damn long since Boston and the Lakers would go head-to-head year after year. Ahhhhh, the good ol' days! ![]()

I'll be at the Dodgers/Red Sox game at Fenway next week. Prepare for the trash talk! (or lack of talk, depending how it goes)
