Default Hey photo shop genius's

I recently took about 400 35mm negatives to Costco and had them put on CD to upload to my computer.
Some, not all, of the photo's a have a light leak on them.
It is also on the original photo. I think I'd dropped the camera. Anyway, can this be photoshopped out? I have a couple pics that I really like that I'd like to see without the light streak. If not,oh well. They still bring back great memories!! Opinions please.
Thanks

I'm no pro, but I'm good enough to get an occasional picture published. Many of your problem areas are of foliage or asphalt, which are somewhat random and easy to fix. You can even fix complex areas, such as a person's face, if you're willing to take the time.

I would use the "rubber stamp" tool to copy adjacent areas, then paste them into the damaged areas. Like I said, on seemingly random areas of the image, it's easy to get excellent results.

If you're obsessive, you can take a portrait and use the same technique to eliminate or lessen wrinkles, blemishes, or shadows.

Rob

P.S.
Those pictures weren't taken at Costco. Where are they? It looks like an awesome trip.

That sucks to have that happen. You're still shooting film? I have loads of slide film in the fridge, but the old SLR hasn't seen daylight in a few years...

Rusty is right.... they're gonna be time consuming to fix, but you can probably make them look a lot less noticeable if you spend the time. Clone stamp tool, masking tool are probably the easiest ways to fix them. If there's detail in there you could copy the affected section on to a new layer and tweak away using adjustment layers and gradient masks, then touch it up after that with the clone stamp tool.

Like I said, time consuming, but FWIW, memories are irreplaceble, but can be repaired.

I would gladly work out a trade for photoshop services. Maybe you have a carbon seat post sitting around, or some other part you're done with that's just taking up space? and yeah, these can easily be saved.

Those are spirits. You need to see the movie shutter.
Ghosts make those streaks in your photos.

Spirits!! I forgot about that. Maybe.
They were taken in France on a tour in 2000 & 2001. Back then I still used film. Taken at Costco??? No, taken TO Costco!
Man, I just gave my extra carbon seat post to a poor white kid the other day. Dang!! I have an old 1990 Rock Shox though. Will that do?
Looks like it's too much work for me to do. I have no photo shop knowledge.
If Station or Guero or Kanga are interested in fixing a couple, I'll shoot you a PM if I am desperate and perhaps beg and pay or buy beer or whatever.
No rush. I have only uploaded 2 discs to go over and I have about 12.

just clone stamp the hell out of it and do it carefully and you should honestly be ok. This could easily be fixed but will be very time consuming, and time is money!!

Sorry I had to play with it a little more. I have so much fun doing this stuff. What do ya think? I even touched up the brown in the tree and that nasty dead grass to the left of it.
