I think MTV and it's current programming provide indisputable proof that the apocalypse is nigh.

Programming nowadays seems to be nothing but blantantly stupid comedy and ridiculous drama... aka all shows on MTV.

But Rob and Big are hilarious.

imo most reality shows suck today and they are really scraping the bottom of barrel. not sure the exact names but my momma cant dance, animal groomers something, wtf.

that said Rob & Big, is great. those guys seem like real friends and know how to have fun. Meaty rocks!!!!

I agree with you all. Reality shows are going down the drain with their content. But only one show I will watch religiously and that is ROB AND BIG!!! Love that show!! It made me and my gf a huge DC fan. Even went to the DC Store opening on Melrose to meet them.

add all reality TV and the apocalypse is even more near. my wife watches a lot of the cr@p on mtv and i usually feel more dumb from sitting and watching it.
real world/rock of love/the flava flave thing/kardashians and on. that "workout" thing needs to die a horrible death- drawn and quartered would be a good start.

the only one that's somewhat tolerable is the "girls next door"....but i'm not sure why.

Do work! I love Rob and Big and make sure that I see every episode. One of my favorite shows was when they bought the net and caught spider man in it.

The fiancee's best friend actually works on Rob and Big. From what I've heard, they aren't really "friends" per se. Big doesn't live there, and most if not all the crap they pull is setup by MTV. Rob sleeps around constantly (hence no showing them really partying). Big is stoned in every show and won't do the shown until he get stoned. Drama now drives a CLK mercedes for doing nothing, and Rob didn't actually do all the guiness book of records in a day.

but I do like the show. It's still funny.

Sorry. It's still funny. I started watching just cause she worked on the show, and I liked it. Then she told me all this, and I was a little let down. But, it actually makes a little more sense now.
