Robert Schneider Benefit Fundraiser Sunday April 13

I just received this email from a friend and wanted to pass it along

On February 27th, Rob was visiting San Diego from Australia and celebrating his 26th birthday, when he was brutally attacked and thrown into a burning fire pit in Ocean Beach.

After being pulled from the fire, Rob underwent extensive surgeries, was in a coma for weeks, and will be on his way home soon for months of rehab. His Mum and Dad flew here from Adelaide, and have been by his side since.

As avid travelers, we sympathize with the huge ordeal that Rob and his parents are going through, and want to show our support. Let's help by attending a fun event, mixing it up with the Aussies, and contributing to the fund that will aid in Rob's long recovery.

Join us for this family friendly community event. Admission is $8 and includes an Australian BBQ. First 75 people get a free shirt.

We are holding an amazing raffle, with all proceeds going to the fund. Grand prizes include a trip for 2 to Fiji (compliments of Outdoor Travel Adventures), and a trip for 2 to Australia (air tickets compliments of Qantas Airlines).

when i first read this, all i could think of was the actor from all the adam sandler movies. Love that guy.
