kinda weird: pics of ladies in mtb gear
Alright so I swear I'm not trying to be perverted, but I really want to get my kinda looks-conscious girlfriend to don the proper gear and come mtbing with me. She insists that girls in gear look butch. I personally know that not to be true, so I'm hoping you guys can help me out with some evidence...
like i said, kinda weird??? but i'm pretty sure that she wouldn't mind hitting the dirt and until now I've only been able to drag her out on my beach cruiser where she can wear whatever-the-hell she wants. |

ok so that was definitely not what I meant, I'm going to blame you if she's completely put off the idea of ever wearing 'gear'.
and I don't mean the gear that that chick is probably growing due to the hormone injections. |

I was gonna post one of her, but she is not a mountain biker, just an attention whore!Shes not even wearing a helmet! That and ( i Know its not the point) but shes not even attractive for reasons other than she is a mess.

Most of us will look at women in baggy, dark/drab colors such as gray, black, olive, etc etc etc and think nothing of it other then, "Cool. A chick that can ride."
 If she is worried about looking butch then try and keep to the lighter/brighter colors and more roadie/XC'ish gear unless of course she is also concerned with her physical appearance then just go with the lighter baggies. But if your girl is ANYTHING like my daughter she will need the brighter gear, pink, light/baby blues, yellows etc etc etc.

Yeh that was Liz.... on a casual day a long time ago as her helmet and glasses are much cooler now.
My opinion is....tell her to wear what she likes....no offense but mtb fashion for women is horrible. The spandex roadie kits are just as bad...so don't get me wrong. Unless you're racing sponsored, wear what you like. Girls should be girls I tell ya... wear a comfy bottom that doesn't catch and has some padding...and wear a support upper, and otherwise....if you want to get out the bedazzler....go for it.
